What not to do when visiting Azerbaijan

1/6
Marker Azerbaijan
Business & Communication

Don't forget to make warm and friendly greetings - a handshake between the men with a kiss on the cheek and "salaam" (means "peace - hello"). Women hug and kiss each other on left cheek - women usually don't shake hands among themselves, although many will shake hands with a foreigner. Male should wait for a woman to extend the hand - if so, shake hands lightly.
